Founded in 2015, People Need People started with a pricking of a little girl’s heart to become a resource for the disadvantaged. The pricking became more intense as various situations of helplessness grew more public. Women, men, children, and families were without food and shelter, and the need for People Need People began to grow.  People were suffering from the lack of necessities that many took for granted, and their inability to obtain or maintain basic needs to live became a clarion call for People Need People to be a solution.

Over time, I took note of the different challenges to areas overcome by homelessness and poverty. I paid attention to the humbling process of people that came forward with a need. Writing was pivotal, and I began to consider and list resources and solutions we could provide to support areas where assistance was needed. The journey of helping people had begun, and throughout the years, time and finances increased to place us in a position to give back. People Need People is the organization that provides food to counter hunger. We create teams of people willing to donate their time and talent for the betterment of others. We are a listening ear and offer love wherever we can. The vision of People Need People is to provide for the needs of people with tangible and intangible support. We believe that it is our responsibility to speak for those whose circumstances have stripped their ability to stand and speak for themselves.
